The greatest Texas Holdem player ever, Doyle Brunson, has finally jumped on the internet bandwagon and opened his own poker site. Doyle's room is part of the Tribeca Poker Network. Tribeca provides poker software to online casinos and sportsbooks, but Doyle's seems to be its most popular skin.
The Doyle's room players are generally not very good. The $1-2 games are especially soft because of the influx of small stakes casino players, but even 5/10 is softer than many other sites.
Cashouts are nice and quick. I guess an old road gambler like Doyle knows the value of getting your money back in your pocket. They have Live Support, and the staff actually know how to answer questions in English. Email support is also good.
The software looks a little low-tech, but it runs quickly, and without any noticeable bugs. The buttons are a good size are and in general the interface is clean and easy to use.
Tournaments start every 10 to 20 minutes, and are generally small buy in (inlcuding a 1c No Limit Rebuy, which is great for practise). Doyle Brunson has put his name on a solid internet poker room, and it is definately worth a look.
